Of course, you know white icing sugar and brown candy sugar. But did you know that sugar can also be green? It can – if it has as good an eco-balance as our beet sugar.

Our raw material, the sugar beet, is a product of nature. So, it’s only natural that we do our best to protect the climate and the environment. We are taking part in initiatives, joining networks, and have committed ourselves to achieving ambitious goals.

Climate protection strategy

We are tackling climate protection head on – with clear goals and innovative solutions. By 2040, our sugar production will be climate neutral. By 2050, we aim to achieve net zero for our emissions from Scope 1, 2, and 3 – our entire value creation chain.
