At our Lage plant, up-to-the-minute technology rubs shoulders with environmentally friendly planning. Since completing the new beet yard in 2018, we have been able to handle larger deliveries. The result: fewer loads, less traffic, and lower emissions! We are continuously getting cleaner and greener – and also quieter, thanks to our special noise barriers and enclosed beet washing facility. With clever cameras, we scan every beet precisely for data-based quality assessment. Our manufacturing processes: clean, quiet, and smart!

At the Lage factory, our 105 employees demonstrate the meaning of teamwork every single day. Our professionals work with passion and dedication to ensure sugar production of the highest calibre. As an apprentice, engineer, electronics technician, or industrial mechanic, every man and woman here contributes their ideas and expertise. In Lage, they find an innovative working environment, engaging tasks, professional development opportunities, freedom, and personal responsibility. Our Lage sugar factory is more than just a workplace – it is a bona fide community.

Our roots in Lage go deep, and not just with our beets. We work closely with the agricultural colleges, universities, and schools in the surrounding areas. We organise events and factory tours, and also run drills on our premises with the local fire service. And last but far from least: We support local social initiatives.
