Fondant for the
food industry

Soft, smooth, and adaptable: Fondant is a formable white mass that can be individually adapted by changing the temperature, the water content, and the type and proportion of glucose syrup it contains. It consists of the finest sucrose crystals dissolved in a saturated sucrose-glucose solution. All of Pfeifer & Langen’s fondants are made from REDcert2-certified sugar beets.

Our fondants are used as an icing for bakery goods and as a filling in confectionery. They vary in gloss, opacity, and drying rate. We offer producers a broad selection of different fondants – in paste form, ready-to-use, as blocks, or as powder.


Fondant

Fondant is a viscous mass that can be adjusted to the desired consistency by kneading and, if necessary, by adding water. We also supply fondant to manufacturers as a low-viscosity ready-to-use glaze – for even easier processing.

Dry powdered fondant

The benefits offered by dry powdered fondant? It is easily removed from its container, even in small quantities. And it is easy to store, easy on mixing equipment, and mixes effortlessly with both liquid and powdered components. The super-fine white powder transforms quickly into workable fondant icing by the selective addition of water and, at the same time, adjusting the temperature. Using fruit concentrate instead of water will give a coloured fondant with a fruity flavour. Dry powdered fondant is thus highly versatile and can be customised to meet the specific needs of your customers.
