Keeping our customers supplied with liquid sugar and sugar specialities means being here for them around the clock, all year, in four and five shift operation. Our production aim is to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. To avoid disturbing our neighbours in Euskirchen, our beets follow set routes, with only a limited number of vehicles on the move at night. A clear road to follow – and that matters when it comes to energy, too. Moving away from coal as an energy source, we have now turned to wood sourced from sustainable plantations. Our sights are set on becoming fully CO
2 neutral.
