Not only the sugar we produce at Gostyń is impressive – the architecture is, too. The sugar factory in Gostyń stands out with its 19th century brick buildings. Historical industrial charm on the outside, high-tech innovation on the inside: Pfeifer & Langen Polska S.A.’s third-largest factory is breaking new ground in sustainability and efficiency. In 2013, we constructed a sugar silo here with an 80,000-tonne capacity – the biggest in Poland and one of Europe’s largest.

Our production

For us, it’s not enough to simply maintain our sustainability goals in Gostyń – we want more. So in 2018, we modernised our heating management system. And today, we continue to work on reducing our heat and power consumption, with a modern gas-fired power plant currently under construction. Our packing area and shipping warehouse – from where we process sugar deliveries for export worldwide – have also been modernised. And we operate the most modern packing line for dry demerara sugar in Poland.

Our team

Our Gostyń sugar factory thrives on cooperation. Our employees work in agriculture, basic production, and refined sugar processing. Our finance department is also based in Gostyń. Many fields of work – one dedicated team. Our Gostyń team is shaping the future of the factory, with a wealth of experience, teamwork, and drive for innovation.

Our commitment to the region

We gladly take on responsibility and are actively participating in developing the local community, not least as an energy supplier: on average, our factory delivers 35,000 GJ per year for heating apartments, houses, and kindergartens in Gostyń. We support social initiatives, too – for example, by promoting an active lifestyle, developing digital skills, and fostering musical talent.
