Two locations, one ambitious aim: to deliver perfect solutions for our customers. The sugar factories in Elsdorf and Wevelinghoven are our specialists for white rock candy and many special varieties – from decorative sugar to nib sugar to specially customised varieties. The Elsdorf factory has existed since 1870 and counts among our most tradition-rich sites – rich in experience, rich in innovation. In our Innovation Center, we conduct research on new beet-based sugars – we developed cellobiose, for example, right here.

Our production

White rock candy, nib sugar, and many more special varieties: Our factories in Elsdorf and Wevelinghoven manufacture a broad spectrum of products. Elsdorf is also home to our central procurement department, responsible for obtaining packaging materials for the entire group. And sustainability matters to us. More and more, we are packaging our products using FSC-certified materials – and making a significant contribution to responsible forest management.

Our team

Many of our 95 employees in Elsdorf and Wevelinghoven have been with us for many years – testimony to the outstanding teamwork and the exciting, varied tasks in the factories. And we are committed to supporting our employees: We foster professional development for all staff, with special programmes, many benefits, and recognition at eye level – because respectful cooperation matters.

Our commitment to the region

Together with Elsdorf town and our sister company Savanna Ingredients, we plan the “Food Campus Elsdorf” on our company grounds. This future-oriented project supports the regional agricultural, food, and biotechnology sectors as well as the local economy and urban development. When it comes to maintenance and investment, we turn to regional businesses, with commissions going to firms in Rhein-Erft-Kreis and Rhein-Kreis Neuss. In this way, we create jobs and foster cooperation locally. What’s more, we’ve been supporting the local food banks for many years – with sugar products and a touch of solidarity for the region.
