Icing sugar for
the food industry

From crystal to powder: Icing sugar is produced by crushing crystal sugar in special mills. By adjusting the milling conditions, we can produce icing sugar in different degrees of fineness – perfectly tuned for the most varied applications of producers in the food industry. Our icing sugar is available with or without an additional anticaking agent.

Our icing sugar is used primarily in confectionery and bakery goods that call for especially fine sugar: marzipan, sponge cakes, meringue, fillings, glazes, decorations, toppings, instant mixes for pastries and desserts – and, of course, in your own product innovations. 

Pfeifer & Langen offers icing sugar in several fineness grades for practically any application, additive-free or with an anticaking agent for better flow properties, easier processing, and improved storage. Possible anticaking agents include potato starch, wheat starch, dried glucose syrup, and tricalcium phosphate. As a producer, you decide what you need. We deliver it – tailor-made.
