The Sugar Factory in Gostyń was founded in 1897. Located in the center of the picturesque town, with its 19th-century brick buildings, it has become a permanent part of its landscape.
Sweet taste of tradition and modernity
At our Gostyń Sugar Plant, we process an average of 6,000 metric tons of beets per day. It is the third largest plant of Pfeifer & Langen Polska S.A. In 2013, the largest sugar storage silo in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, with a capacity of 80,000 tons, was built here.

Our production
Meeting sustainability goals is a daily priority for us. In 2018, we modernized our thermal management, and we systematically carry out a number of projects that help us reduce our consumption of heat and electricity. At the Sugar Plant, construction is underway for a modern gas-fired power plant. Thanks to the modernized packing house and shipping warehouse, we have the capability to handle sugar shipments for worldwide export. The packing plant operates the most modern Dry Demerara cane sugar packing line in Poland.

In addition to employees from the agriculture department, basic production, and refined production processes, Gostyń Sugar Plant is also home to our financial department.
